Audio equipment maker Skullcandy is making gamers excited
for the holidays with its official release of the PLYR2 wireless gaming
headset. It is the company’s first attempt to come up with a headset sans
wires.
The PLYR2 features a 2.4GHz wireless audio, Skullcandy’s
“Supreme Sound” technology, a GMX stereo transmitter that balances game and
voice audio, three different EQ sound modes, and an adjustable boom mic that
can be turned mute by flipping it up.
The Skullcandy PLYR2 is available in black, teal, and
white for $129.99. Budget gamers may opt for the SLYR wired headset for only
$79.99. Meanwhile, the Dolby Surround Sound-equipped PLYR1 is set to launch
early next year.
